Blacktail Books

Blacktail Books, located at on Second Avenue West at First Street West, is famous for its 50,000 books, including hardcovers (30%), paperbacks (70%), audiobooks, comics and maps. Everything is categorized and (mostly) alphabetized. Almost half of the store is devoted to nonfiction. And there is an impressive collection of hard-to-find books on Montana history.

The store is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Jim Handcock, owner, invites you to trade books. Bring yours in and open an account!
